Effective Moth Trap Advertising in Under 45 Seconds

Here is a short ad that showcases the features and benefits of the client’s moth traps.

They needed an ad for their new product, that also needed to comply with Amazon’s guidelines and time limitations. One of the challenges here was to fit a lot of information in an animation that lasted under 45 seconds, and that at the same time gave information and stood out against competing products.

The approach was then to focus on the problem the potential buyer would face and how the product would solve it: the presence of moths either in a wardrobe or inside cupboards. It was then decided to take the route of the first theme, to reduce the total length of the video and to have the chance to show as many features as possible.

The first step was to create a script and storyboard to set the scenes that would be seen throughout the animation and estimate their length. The customer provided photos and mockups of the product that were used to create a 3D model of both the box and the trap. These models were used to preview those scenes.

Once the storyboard was ready, the next step was to create a draft video, that with some amends evolved in the final product seen here:

The 3D animation approach nailed the client’s needs, as it allowed to fine tune the details that would be seen in the video, and also helped to quickly explain how the product is assembled and used, something not easily feasible if actual real video was used.

Why This Matters for Industrial Explanations:

Just like this video makes a simple product’s function crystal clear, 3D animation can do the same for complex industrial equipment and processes. Forget confusing diagrams – animation brings your products to life!

Think about it: We see the product’s assembly and the protection it gives to the user – all visually demonstrated. This makes understanding instant and engaging.

For your industry: Imagine using 3D animation to showcase machinery internals, assembly steps, or the benefits of your latest technology. It’s powerful stuff!Ready to make the complex clear? Let’s talk 3D animation for your industry:
